The Legacy of Mario Pieri

This website posts three related manuscripts. It is intended for sharing data among coauthors, editors, and reviewers. The first book, The Legacy of Mario Pieri in Geometry and Arithmetic, coauthored with Elena Anne Marchisotto, was published by Birkhäuser in August 2007. The second book, The Legacy of Mario Pieri on the Foundations and Philosophy of Mathematics should be published by Birkhäuser in 2010;  it will have a third coauthor, Francisco Rodriguez-Consuegra. For the third book we have as yet no publication agreement.  For details of these books, follow the links below. This material is under copyright protection. Please understand that this is the website of James T. Smith, at San Francisco State University, and is not officially connected with the publisher.
