(CM)²: Creating Momentum through Communicating Mathematics

Nina Cerutti

(CM)² Graduate Student (2013-2014)

I was raised in the small town of Gustine, California. After graduating from Gustine High School in 2007, I attended CSU Stanislaus where I graduated with a BA in math in 2011. Initially, I wanted to teach at the high school level. Once I started taking higher-level math courses as an undergraduate, I knew that I needed to pursue a career in math. During Fall of 2011, I began my master's degree in mathematics at SFSU. At SFSU, I have found a love for combinatorics and graph theory. My goal is to get my PhD and become a college professor. On my spare time, I love to be around family, friends, and my dog, EJ. I also enjoy cooking (I find it quite therapeutic), reading, and watching movies. I am a huge sports fan and my loyalties lie with the San Francisco Giants & 49ers, and the Boston Celtics.
