Joe Squillace

(CM)² Graduate Student (2013-2014)

I am from Waterbury, Connecticut, but I moved to Palm Springs, California in the 3rd grade. I obtained my Certificate of Transfer Completion at College of the Desert with an emphasis in mathematics in 2009, and I graduated with a bachelor's in pure mathematics from UC Berkeley in 2011. I am a second year graduate student at San Francisco State University, and I plan on studying ergodic theory in a PhD program in 2014 . My favorite math topics are analysis, dynamical systems, fractal geometry, and probability. In my free time I like to travel, spend time with my family, hang out with my friends, sip a cappuccino, listen to music, watch boxing and play basketball! My favorite color is orange, my favorite city is Berkeley, and I love Italian food.
