(CM)² Project Assistant

I am currently an undergraduate student at San Francisco State University majoring in Child and Adolescent Development (CAD). My concentration is school age children.

I started my undergraduate studies as a pre-nursing major; however, quickly realized that the medical field was not for me. I decided to pursue my passion of teaching and switched my major to CAD my junior year. Growing up, I have always been passionate about children, education, and community service. Throughout high school, I led a community service club called Interact, which is an international service club for youths ages 12-18. I also traveled to Thailand during my summer of 2010 through an organization called, ZOE, to volunteer in orphanages of children who have been rescued from human-trafficking. Being actively involved in community service has shown me the power that comes with serving others.

I also enjoy eating, traveling, being physically active, and watching sports!
