Addie Evans

(CM)² Graduate Student (2009-2010)

My math interests are computational biology, algebraic statistics and probability, and I do applied research in population genetics and phylogenetic trees. I'm a graduate student in the math department at SFSU but I have also been working in an evolutionary ecology lab. Besides doing all that, I liking dancing, doing yoga, knitting socks with algebraic structure, cooking healthy food and playing with my cat named Epsilon Greater Than Zero. I'm from Sebastopol, California - the first city in the USA to have a green party majority on its city council. I currently teach part time at SFSU and the Waldorf School in San Francisco.
