The SFSU LSAMP program supports participants who enroll in SCIence courses. These 1 unit courses, also known as Academic Year Workshops, assist students to succeed in their major by providing enrichment material and additional academic work directly related to science courses. Students who enroll in these courses earn higher grades in their science courses and show significant progress in their major.

Targeted LSAMP participants who enroll in these workshops are eligible for stipends.

A list of these courses can be found at http://oi.sfsu.edu/cgi-bin/student/classsch.htm.

After you enroll in a SCI course download the CSU-LSAMP Application Form an SFSU Stipend Appointment Form and a SFSU Vendor Data Record Form. Complete all three forms and return them to Prof. David Ellis in the Mathematics Department office (TH 937).

Free mathematics tutoring is available through the Learning Assistance Center (LAC) in HSS 348 and the Community Access and Retention Program (CARP) in HSS 344.
