CSU Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation
Graduate School Preparedness Initiative
The overall goal of the CSU-LSAMP Graduate School Preparedness Initiative is to encourage the participation of underrepresented minority students in activities that prepare them for graduate studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Such activities include:
Successful completion of upper division courses in STEM majors.
Intense advising by departmental advisors.
Preparation for GRE exams.
Participation in undergraduate research experiences.
Travel to professional conferences in STEM disciplines.
Students who participate in this initiative can receive support for research, professional travel, GRE preparation exams, purchase of discipline textbooks and graphics calculators. If you wish to participate in this program please complete the CSU-LSAMP Application Form. If you are involved in research you may be entitled to an incentive award in which case you should also complete SFSU Vendor Data Record Form and SFSU Stipend Appointment Form and return to:
